Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Vientiane | A Gentle Welcome to Laos

Welcome to the laid-back charm of Laos 🇱🇦
Arrive at Wattay International Airport, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Vientiane. After check-in, spend the rest of the day at leisure—wander through quiet streets, relax at a café by the Mekong, or simply soak in the calm rhythm of the capital city.

Day 2 – Vientiane City Highlights & Buddha Park

Begin your cultural discovery with a visit to Wat Si Muang, one of the city’s most spiritually significant temples, believed to grant wishes and protection.

Travel to the iconic Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan), an open-air gallery featuring over 200 intriguing Buddhist and Hindu sculptures set along the Mekong River.

Continue to the COPE Center, offering deep insight into Laos’ wartime history and the ongoing humanitarian efforts to clear unexploded ordnance.

Visit the golden That Luang Stupa, the national symbol of Laos, followed by a climb up Patuxay Monument for sweeping city views. Explore Wat Sisaket and Wat Phra Keo, showcasing exquisite Lao and Khmer architecture.

As evening sets in, enjoy a peaceful sunset walk along the Mekong River, watching the sky turn shades of gold and crimson.

Day 3 – Scenic Drive to Vang Vieng & Cave Adventures

After breakfast, drive north through lush countryside, rivers, and limestone mountains toward the adventure hub of Vang Vieng.

Explore the fascinating cave systems:

  • Tham Xang (Elephant Cave) with ancient Buddhist shrines
  • Tham Hoi (Snail Cave) and Loop Cave, known for their dramatic limestone formations

At Tham Nam (Water Cave), enjoy tubing through cool underground waters followed by a refreshing swim.

Later, trek through emerald rice fields to the traditional Hmong village of Phathao, offering a glimpse into rural Lao life before returning to town.

Day 4 – Kayaking, Ziplining & Blue Lagoon Bliss

Travel north of Vang Vieng to Ban Village, where today’s adrenaline-packed adventure begins.

Paddle down the Nam Song River on a guided kayaking experience, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and untouched landscapes. Explore Tham Norn (Sleeping Cave) and Tham Nang Far (Angel Cave) tucked deep within the mountains.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before soaring through the jungle on an exhilarating zipline adventure featuring 8 lines and 3 suspension bridges over forests and rivers.

Day 5 – High-Speed Train to Luang Prabang

Climb Mount Phousi in the evening for breathtaking panoramic views as the sun sets over the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers.

Wrap up the day browsing the lively Night Market, filled with handmade textiles, souvenirs, and street snacks.

Day 6 – Mekong River Cruise & Sacred Caves

After breakfast, embark on a relaxed Mekong River cruise, drifting past riverside villages and jungle landscapes.

Arrive at the mystical Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues left by pilgrims over centuries. Stop at Ban Xang Hai Village, famous for traditional Lao rice whisky (Lao-Lao) production.

Return to town and visit Wat Sene, one of Luang Prabang’s oldest temples, followed by the iconic Wat Xieng Thong, renowned for its sweeping roofs and intricate mosaic artwork.
